Super Skinny Arnold Palmer Party Drink

Now there’s really no excuse not to go to the party on Friday night! You can sip this all night long and not have to worry about sacrificing your daily caloric intake.

This is probably the easiest recipe I could possibly post but that’s my general style in the kitchen – not too many ingredients and easy to put together. Originally, this recipe is made with sugary sweet tea and lemonade with a variety of high calorie alcohols. I chose vodka for this drink because it is generally the lowest calorie alcohol out there.

I tailored this recipe to party drinks – a quick stop at the grocery store on the way to the party, and you’re good to go. No pre-mixing, garnishing, etc. In fact, it’s perfect for a good ol’ Maritime kitchen party because well… I would know, being from Hali-fornia and all.

But if you wanted to put in a little bit more effort and a fresher taste, you could easily swap out the Crystal Light for English Breakfast tea bags and freshly squeezed lemon. The calories wouldn’t even change all that much besides the natural sugar in the lemon, but we’re not that fussy here.

This is my fiancé’s favourite go-to low-cal alcoholic beverage and he is actually the one who introduced it to me! This party drink is best served in – you guessed it – a red solo cup!

Super Skinny Arnold Palmer

  • Servings: 1
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

  • 1oz Skinny Girl Vodka
  • 1 packet Crystal Light Peach Iced Tea (you can use any flavour of the CL Iced Teas, I just prefer a hint of peach)
  • 1 packet Crystal Light Lemonade
  • ice
  • fresh mint leaves (optional)

Mix both Crystal Light packets and mint leaves in 1L of water in a shaker cup. Mix until completely dissolved. Add 1oz Skinny Girl Vodka to your red solo cup (or if you prefer your drinks a little stronger, add in however many ounces suit your taste – just be aware, for every ounce you add, you also add another 55 calories to the drink). Pour over ice and enjoy. Always remember to drink responsibly (especially with this stuff, it’s like juice!).
